Itinerary for Ross Re-Visited Voyage: Flying from Ireland to Christchurch in New Zealand, we embark on our adventure with a visit to the Antarctic Museum and visit Lyttelton port before we fly to Invercargill and set out on our 28 day voyage to Deep Antarctica crossing the Antarctic Circle to seek out the Ross sea stopping off at Cape Adare, Cape Hallett, Terra nova Bay, Franklin Island with masses of Adelie Penguins Colonies. Only 800 miles from the South Pole we experience the massive Ross Ice Shelf, McMurdo & Ross Island where Cape Evans & Cape Royds where the famous expedition huts of Scott and Shackleton under the watchful eye of Mt. Erebus and explore the dramatic scenery of the massive Ross Sea. Aukland, Macquarie, Snares, Campbell are all included stop offs on our journey to or from the Antarctic Continent. We finish our voyage in Invercargill, New Zealand. Some people think you are at sea for 28 days and we might go stiff crazy, no, the longest duration at sea without landing is 2-4 days and happens twice in the 28 days.
