Full steam ahead !!

The middle of the summer has just passed us and the excitement is gathering momentum. Some of our team members call us on a weekly basis to see if there is any news or maybe just for a friendly chat! We are currently finalising details for our get-together in September and can’t wait to meet up with all of the team. That will be a great chance to have you questions answered and view our models in their Antarctic clothing and gear!! Over the next few days we will have an update from our Science & Student project team coordinators.

Final Bookings
We are receiving lots of enquiries interested in this trip of a lifetime to the white continent and South Georgia. We have now only limited berth options available so please contact us immediately on 064 44181 if you are interested or know someone who is.

South Georgia traverse
Our South Georgia traverse team training in Norway was an excellent experience with great conditions and skills learned. The team are strong and great craic, we are now putting forward our submisssion to the SG Governate. They will be training further before they go with one official date coming up in a few weeks.

Website
Our website will be updated on a more regular basis from now on. The latest updates are the staff team page with the science team and student team to be uploaded very soon. We will be covering our members blog section in the september briefing which will allow team members to update an online diary from september onwards and more importantly of their adventures while away in November. Have a look at the 2006 page ’Who’s blogging now’ to get a feel for it.
