Fin el Mundo once more

28th November 2008

We were a bit slow to say the least getting up and off the ship, wit some of the crew and staff helping out with rising a few sick heads. The lounge was full of early morning banter and we were finally escorted to our coaches on the pier down the gangway one last time. The shipping gear was lifted off the ship and put on to Edelmiro’s, Sealand SRL, convoy of vans and we were ready to go. I had just enough time to skip back on board and do a final check and say my goodbyes.

We got to the hotels Fueguino and Glacier and for some it was more rest while most it was downtown Ushuaia for some retail thaarpy.

The following day after another memorable night of food and some clubbing, we just had enough time to finish of the souvenir buying and supplies for our flight to BA at 2pm. Our coach was delayed and the lobby of the Fueguino was awash with luggage and over thirty Irish for over an hour, I believe the Glacier was similar. The staff in the hotels were excellent and very friendly, Juan trying his hardest to secure a munster jersey off Brian until he found out it was actually a Cork jersey. Thanks guys!!
