Another milestone, Day 17

82.8303S,083.2323W
Distance to Pole:796km

Its true to say that we need milestones to achieve our goals, and today we achieved another one. Tonight we are camped within 796km from the pole. Only 8 more segments of a 100km each and we have it.

For the team to relieve the boredom of the journey, we constantly break the task down into sections. How many km’s that we have travelled on the day, How much of each degree, the distance we have covered and finally distance remaining.

The team are now working very well as a single unit and moving like an efficient well oiled machine. Today has been our best day yet on the move, 27.07 km.
