Boots fail!

Camp name – Tom Crean
Date: 14/11/07
Position: S80.31.075, W081.21.702
Temperature: -21 wind-chill
Weather: cloudy and windy morning, sun and still afternoon

Cold and overcast this morning with -21 Celsius wind-chill, this afternoon we pulled our sleds up a 250m hill, and the sun came out and warmed our backs, temperature now is -10, positively tropical! After 7 hours skiing Jonathon called a halt as his boots were starting to fall apart after only 4 days of mild abuse, he will have a long night with needle and thread.
