November 25th Snowstorm

This is as far south as we are going, we camped out in the bay area last
night, got ashore at 10pm, great experience, did not have a sleeping
bag, had to do with an offshore sailing survival suit picked up in
Norway last August, plenty light layers of clothing and thermals along
with snow boots and 2 pairs of thermal socks kept me reasonably
comfortable, early start at 5am allowed us to pack away the tents before
a snow storm started, Donnchadha “Moses” surprised us all by going for a
good swim at 6am in the middle of this, penguins were seen leaping from
the water near him, what a crack, water must have been well below zero
and wind chill factor well below this, glad to get back onboard for a
hot early morning breakfast, photographs to follow when we get home
