November 21st, Whales

Last 3 days on board have been quiet enough, last hour has been
brilliant with a large number of Fin and Sei Whales visible in all
direction, several of these have come right up to the bow of the ship,
the captain has slowed right down to enable us see and photograph them,
Bad fog which lasted over 24 hours and temperatures under 4c meant most
stayed indoors, we expect to be at Elephant island around 4 to 5am in
the morning
