November 22nd, Elephant Island

Evening all.

Tanya here, just lettimg you know in still having a ball each and every
day the time is going all to fast for me. walking from fortuna to
stromness was fantastic and sliding down the hill was crazy it was very
emotional also. seeing the macaronni penguins was the job and even
though we couldnt stop at a few landings due to bad weather it was and
still is fantastic we had a table quiz organised by the students and
plenty og interesting lectures especially fergus amd liams ranging from
sealing to carbon footprinting to geology amongst others yesyerday i
finally kicked my feelings of sea sickness the zodiacs are brill crew
are sound aswell.teachers are really committed to helping the kids
theres alot of credit due to them.at elephant island this morning but
fog very dense so couldnt go on. went in zodiacs this afternoon all
around ele island.scenery magnificent. this is the best experience of my
life so far. id also like to say hi to mossie prendergast for
encouraging me to come first day and too my friends, family the lads in
an pcst and those who made this possible thank you so very very much. il
blogg again tomorrow as it will be my last day being able to go on e
mail so cherrio for now tanya.
